TheraBands at-a-glance

What's inexpensive, tucks in a pocket, and provides a gym-quality workout at home or on the road?  

Theraband resistive bands and tubing offer great versatility in developing a home exercise program. Use them to improve muscular endurance and strength, range of motion (ROM) and flexibility. 

Therabands come in color-coded resistance levels so you can customize a program and select the most suitable resistance level. Color-change also signals your progress, as you work your way through the different levels.

Comparison of bands & tubing 

Resistance bands are wide (latex is 6," latex-free is 4") for ease-of-use and comfort. Because the band distributes the resistive force over a wide area, circulation is not impaired. The round shape of the stretchable latex resistance tubing makes it ideal for hand activities.

TheraBands are hard to beat for:

• Versatility  TheraBand can be used as a straight length, but it works equally well tied in a loop or looped around a chair or other stationary object.
• Portability   Band/tubing is light-weight and flexible...fits easily into purse, pocket, or tote.
• Elasticity  Thera-band can be stretched and relaxed in a smooth, consistent manner. This prevents the jerky spring-back that can cause muscle spasm.
• Economy  Compared with conventional exercise equipment, the TheraBand is very inexpensive. 

And, of course, Quality. 

Traditional TheraBands are made of durable rubber latex.  Latex-free is also available, though, in 3-pack sets or 25 yard lengths.
